Waka TV Subtitles Guide

Use subtitles on Waka TV: turn them on, pick a language, and fix subtitles that are out of sync.

Turn Subtitles On

Waka TV download subtitles live inside the player, not in the device settings, so open a title, open the player menu, and choose the subtitle track there. The available languages change from title to title, because not every title carries every language.

Subtitles help in more situations than language alone. Noisy rooms, quiet sleeping houses, and fast dialogue all become easier with text on screen, and many viewers keep subtitles on even for films in their own language.

Fix Subtitles That Misbehave

When subtitles are out of sync, switch the track off and on again inside the player. That resyncs most tracks without restarting the title, and it costs less than a minute.

When no subtitle track appears, the title may simply not carry one. Try another title in the same category to confirm: subtitles on one title and none on another means the track is missing from the title, not broken in the app. See also the movies guide.

Conclusion

Subtitles on Waka TV are a player setting, chosen per title. Switch tracks to resync, and test another title before assuming the app is at fault.
